~memoirs~

suddenly today i remember what i loved most during learning english in primary school,
our teacher, Mdm. Clare,
who is a very dedicated teacher
had encourage us to use the language with everyone, my,
i can tell that almost all of us in the class could speak d language almost as fluent as an adult
(at that time in primary 6)....
i really appreciate the way she tries to instill the eagerness to speak n learn the language..
by making us learn a new word each day,
by which every morning i would go to her table and
collect the paper where she wrote the new word for us to learn..
the most memorable one was 'mimic',
where it brings up the meaning to follow something~, to copy~,
that was the first day i came across that word, and since then i noe what does it meant...
not only that,
Mdm., also help us to learn proverbs by providing us to learn a quotation a week,
and for that year,
i had been learning a few quotation that became dear to my heart,

~don't cry over the spilt milk~
~never count the egg before it hatched~
~time is gold~
~honesty is the best policy~
~better late than never~
~all that glitters is not gold~
~practice makes perfect~
~don't judge the book by its cover~
~make hay while the sun shines~

with all this quotes it comes great explaination from the great teacher....
thank u madam for giving me the best lesson in my life,
and for this quote,
"if u fail to plan, u plan to fail"
was one of the most memorable one, because it sometimes confuse me on how to say it clearly, but to learn the lesson behind it,
it takes me ages to understand....

live is full of quotation...
we can make it on our own...
but to me,
the best quotation of the life time is

"IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME"

~*cheers*~
