Help preserve the earth

Dear friends,
u must have seen this 'postcard to PM' project before,

this one is among the 7 design postcard that is dedicated for the PM on the coal-plant proposed project in Lahad Datu Sabah, as a Sabahan, a coal generated plant for electricity is a big NO-NO because of the side effect that is brought by the plant, ie. filthy air... and when the government faced so many petition including petition from the WWF, it seem the world are against the project, because it damages the surrounding, and they CANCEL the project...
.

As a consequences, people in the state would have to wait a lil' longer for the electric supply to be better in there, the electric company would have to think of other way to have electric generated plant... and so as to say, there come other projects,
A KAIDUAN DAM in 2009 and TAMBATUON DAM (*i think its recently)

The Kaiduan Dam in Papar and at the upper river of Moyog Penampang, is meant to be a water catchment center for supplying treated water to the population in Kota Kinabalu and as to generated some electricity, but for this thing to happen, indigenous people living in that area
which consists about ELEVEN (11) villages is to be affected.

Why are we stripping people of their own land, ANCESTOR land?????
pls spread the word, we would not want our people to become like the people affected by the BAKUN DAM in Sarawak, where they barely could survive at the new place and the amount of settlement given is not according to what they had to sacrifice...

And this Tambatuon Dam in Kota Belud, it has been said to be proposed without consulting the villagers around the place, sometimes, what does this big people thing? money could settle everything?

Any development in a said compound that is bigger than (*i could not remember the size*) but it need Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report from *auditor bertauliah* and this EIA, is needed at the proposal stage not after the development had been made...

so my fellow WSB,
do ur thing, post this against the Kaiduan and Tambatuon Dam in ur blog, as the PM once said a few days ago, Malaysian are not affected by blogger,
let us blog for a GOOD cause..

*cheers*

*perhaps we need another postcard project, no?*
