Malaysian water usage!!
Wednesday nite on 360 on TV3 was finally something really informative and really need to be paid attention to... it is not the usual vice stuff.. for once, i think im very thankful that they did the documentary....
well,
Malaysian (*reread MALAYSIAN ok?!*)
do you know that malaysia has the lowest water tariff in the world?
do you know that the average usage of water in malaysia is among the highest in the world?
do u think there is more people in malaysia than in any other country?
well, people, we need to CHANGE!!!
we need to change that attitude..
in order for us to have a good quality of water is to stop wasting water,
water is source of our life..
althou we are blessed with tropical forest i.e. so many water sources, but,
be thankful and considerate...
cut ur water usage and minimise ur water usage everyday,
change ur habit of using water excessively,
it doesnt mean that u hv to bath for 1hour to be totally clean.. it's how u clean ur self with sufficient amount of water.. pls hv a thot on that!!...
if u dont, then u would not care if people in some rural villages are going to lose their home.
yes.
LOSE their HOME!!

A kaiduan dam will be built to accomodate the water supply for people in the city, while the people in the rural village will lose their home and land, is that a win - win situation???
and to date, another 15 other dam is being proposed to be built to accommodate the water supply... yes people a total of 16 dams!!!
pls think of others,
we are living on the earth with mutual respect and mutually dependent on each other,
so minimized ur water usage to save a whole village..
