when i first know about seksualitimerdeka is when a friend post's is on my news feed,
then i began to wonder what is actually this thing is,
and y is ambiga is associated with it.
yes the name has a very influential effect on everyone on the political ground,
that whatever or whenever she's been is like a place that needed to be banned.
so lets go up to the story,
then that night, i watch on the news saying there is a random-sex-party is gonna be held at KL
and i was like - huh?! really?!
they said that this party called "seksualiti-merdeka" or they put in their words as parti seks bebas is morally gratifying and will bring down the public morale if its allowed to happen, many people interviewed on the news (of course la kan they will only aired the opposing side of the news) disagree about this matter,
but enlighten me peeps,
have u actually read what is this seksualiti-merdeka is all about before u began to curse, criticize and down looking at this matter?,
i stumble upon their official website, and read..
it turns out that this event was held every year since 2008,
but this year it come to surface only because the organizer is inviting S.Ambiga to officiate the festival.. yes its a festival, a carnival of sort but it does not promote random sex...
it does not invite all its participants to get involve a sex orgy..
what they wanted is their stories to be heard,
people with different sexual orientation,
those lesbian, gay, trangender,bi (LBGT)
wanted to let other people know about human rights,
that they have the right to be equally human not being discriminate and all,
and this organisation has nothing to do with S.Ambiga, well she had make a statement about this [Link]
so people, stop blaming ambiga, althou i dun hv any family relation with her, i find it very disturbing when people are cursing her for this festival that she is not organising..
and pls, make ur facts right!
