~Donation?!

Yesterday, was planned out to be a fun-filled day to release some stress.. so me, miss TuTTiFruitti and LiyaAlong went out to do some shopping and singing competition.. hahahaha (naaahhh just kidding!!)... so we began our day by having lunch at KFC (@klsentral).. since that is where we met.. haha.. having delicious lunch treat with KFC and satisfying the craving for KFC egg tart (one bite and u r hooked) hahaha seriously~ really addicting and tempting the eggtart...

so my stori for the day was this,

while we were chit-chatting talking bout our recent updates, and our frens upcoming wedding (to go or not go? hahaha) we were approached by a guy holding a clear folder in his hand. He began introducing himself as a rela member (maybe volunteeree would be better) telling that he is collecting donation to help a school in KIULU, SABAH, yes suprisingly, he found us, Sabahan, so by chance i have been to the school he mention, SMK Tun Fuad Stephen, Kiulu, i have been there for some projects during my early uni- days.. hahaha

then, he mention that the donation is to help the orphanage conducted by the catholic mission in tamparuli, San Damian, but i dint really heard what is the donation for, from what i heard, he only explain that he had been going around KL, for the cause, and since 4th march, he had manage to get donation from Good MALAYSIAN of all races..

i was touched by the purpose of he doing that, so i ask he is from which parish?.. and he began to rumble about, if i dont want to donate just say i dont want la, no need to ask so many questions, like we are afraid of being conned into donating. (then i was like, HeY. what is ur problem dude? i was just asking so that i could ask fellow friends to donate at the parish that is responsible into contributing the money to the place that needed) i noe my fellow CSSian friends, would be more than happy to conduct other program to raise fund for the place. Instead of asking people around for money.

well, the end of it, i dint donate, bcos he was so suspicious and show his stupidity in front of us. So our first point is that, the school is act, a gov school, so why do they need donation? and the orphanage maybe in need of helps, but other ways could be done, and i m sure catholic churches in sabah is funding money to them.. alas, what i meant to say here is that

there is so many people volunteering from a Home to Spastic children, to ask money from people at the restaurant in KL and (shah alam toO), it has been really irritating becos, it seems that the places that they show is different like in kajang or cheras or pj, but the pictas somehow is the same...

so for whatever reason there is, i still OPPOSE to the fund raising as such mode, there are many ways in fund-raising, but, that method is just not right, it looks like begger asking money.

(hey, its just my opinion.. if u r not satisfied with me, change ur method!)
